I am busy getting ready for the blog hop Sshhh I cannot disclose what I am making until it all happens on November 4th. It should be very exciting. Meanwhile......
It is never to early to get ready for Christmas. I have cooked 2 fruit cakes so far - one is a present and one is for church cake stall.
And this is my first angel for the year. I have also started on some gift tags and cards.
I have been a quiller for over 30 years. "Quill Me" is an invitation to feel inspired and quill. I now live in Canberra.

Birthday Card for 80 Year Old
My Mum is turning 80 this week. She is a 'young' 80 year old and has many activities she is involved in.
I think I will add some lettering to this card I have made for her.

Rainbow Quilling Challenge
A small floral wreath with a rainbow effect for the September challenge onhttp://creativequilling.forumotion.com/
The flowers and leaves are glued to florist wire. It was hard to pick a project and I had written down a few things to try such as a hot air balloon or some jewellery.
But in the end I decided on a wreath.

Elephant cards

I have an order for an elephant card and this is the first time I have quilled one. I did 2 for the customer to choose from. The quilled one is grey paper on black, with silver ribbon and rhinestones.
It reminds me of the baby elephant that had a birthday recently at the Melbourne Zoo

Then I did a card with a sticker, that I found quite by chance in exploring a new paper shop. I chose black rhinestones and ribbon to dress the card up.
Which would you choose?
